Suicide is the number one cause of death among the seriously mentally ill 10%-13% will kill themselves. The seriously mentally ill can only be diagnosed by a psychiatrist. Treatment and medication will save these lives and millions of dollars in healthcare costs and in policing costs. We can also save the lives of the victims killed by the seriously mentally ill in just a few months this year 40 were killed by 6 seriously mentally ill, 4 in Fredericton, 22 in Nova Scotia, 12 in Toronto, and 2 in Montreal. We can we save these lives with treatment and medication not police bullets. The seriously mentally ill need people trained to deal with them when they become violent not the police. Only the government of Germany in the 1930’s approved carbon monoxide to gas for the seriously mentally ill. About schizophrenia
Schizophrenia is the most common and most serious illness of the psychotic disorder group. Patients lose contact with reality and hear or see things which are not real. Influenced by their ideas, they can then act unusually and disproportionately.
Schizophrenia is an episodic illness, i.e. it occurs in psychotic crises (so-called attacks) or later in repeated illness (relapses).
- 1. It occurs in 1 – 1.5% of the population (i.e. roughly 1 person in 100 will suffer from it).
- 2. Its frequency of occurrence is the same across different cultures and different continents.
- 3. It occurs equally frequently in men and women (there is only a difference in the start of the illness).
The course of the illness and journey to recovery are positively influenced by a number of factors, in particular a well-functioning family background, timely and well-managed medication and psychological treatment and systematic rehabilitation.
When and why it occurs
Psychosis sets in for people susceptible to schizophrenia after being faced with excessive mental stress (e.g. school leaving exams, first serious relationship). Predisposition to illness includes oversensitivity (hypersensitivity) and increased vulnerability, and as such the quality of close relationships is important. Only the predisposition is inherited, not the illness itself. (But if one of their parents suffers from schizophrenia then the chances of a child getting the illness too are around 10 %.) Schizophrenia begins at a young age – when adult life is just beginning – and as such it can affect patients for practically their whole life.

Tell us the cost of the damage due to schizophrenia in Canada and Canadians will provide treatment for people with schizophrenia just as they did in the United States of America. FAKE NEWS CAUSES TORTURE
The press and media have always known from the first day that this all began on Canada day in 1977 and we had put five Canadian flags in our windows. The reason that the fake news is causing such physical pain is that it was our neighbor is the one who came onto our property screaming at a 16-year-old boy you damn shitty Russians you do not belong here go back to where you belong and then charge the 16-year-old boy with assault. I hired Terrance Semenuk to be our lawyer and he said to me that you have nothing to worry about this all happened on your property and as for the harassment phone calls and the smashed front windows on house he will deal with it at the trial. At the trial, he did not show up and sent a student lawyer who refused to postpone the trial. I did everything to get an appeal even hired a new lawyer who also failed to appeal so a 16 year old boy did not even get an appeal. How can you laugh at me in court Ina Sidhu; whom do you want to tell today that your fake news that you and Tara Nelson created to confuse the public does not cause physical pain and torture. I hope that you can start to speak for people with Schizophrenia. This is already a disaster in progress the National Post has reported Sat. 1st of April 2017. With psychiatrist committing suicide and suffering, PTSD It is obvious that without freedom of speech the psychiatrists cannot speak for patients like de Grood, Will Baker, and Pasieka who kill because they were not taking medications. In fact, all people with schizophrenia who kill were not taking medication. Obviously, nobody understands that someone with schizophrenia not taking medication is going to kill somebody or themselves. The press and media only show themselves as ignorant unknowing fool’s these three cases the medication could have saved 8 lives and 2 million dollars in medical and legal fees here in Alberta. The Alberta government and the city of Calgary is issuing permits and encouraging the development and building on the flood plains and alluvial fans and taxpayers must pay for the damage caused by floods. You don’t care because you know that tax payers will pay millions for the people suffering with schizophrenia and when people suffering with schizophrenia kill tax payers will continue to pay the legal and medical bills for you.

THE MOST MISUNDERSTOOD ILLNESS IN CANADA
As you can see, schizophrenia is the most misunderstood illness in Canada today because the critics of Will Baker do not understand the research that has proven that there is “0%” chance of Will Baker to reoffend as long as Will Baker takes his medication he can live free in our society. So how can we still have a law that allows people like Will Baker not to take their medication? We have 230 000 people in Canada without medication and 9% will kill somebody. If we did not have this law, in the first place, Will Baker would not have killed anyone and people like Will Baker would not have killed anybody either. If this law never existed, how many lives we would have saved only by amending this law and providing the medication to all the Will Bakers in Canada with involuntary treatment. The involuntary treatment works in the United States and president Obama overhauled and updated the treatment.

University of Calgary this is a great start but you are forgetting that we must first provide involuntary treatment for psychiatric patients, which will safe many lives and improve the quality of life for psychiatric patients and their families. Everybody knows the results of Senator Michael Kirby’s commission that our health care system is turning prisons jails and homeless shelters into asylums for the mentally ill. Psychiatrist’s Dr. Maybaum and Dr. Farnals are intimidated into not providing treatment for people with schizophrenia. When they do find a patient not mentally fit to do a simple job as to wash dishes. They end up telling the families our hands are tied we cannot provide the treatment your best course of action is to forget about your mentally ill family member and go on with your lives because the treatment is only for those patients who are a danger to themselves and others.

This happened in a hospital because of 30 years of neglect by the AHS and health care professionals for the seriously mentally ill and those with schizophrenia. How many more undocumented suicides are there because AHS has no records and no one knows where the people with schizophrenia and the seriously mentally ill are in our society? Without any records the AHS is not competent to launch an investigation.

The reason why the human rights of people with schizophrenia are being violated is because the government believes it can save money on health care and by not providing the medication to people with schizophrenia these people in turn end up in asylums created in jails and prisons. Anyone who steps forward to speak out against this mistreatment of people with schizophrenia is immediately intimidated with the loss of job and head or be arrested if one does not stop crusading for the improved care of people with schizophrenia. Over the past 22 years we have done everything to help people with schizophrenia and all one has to do is look in the four homeless shelters downtown Calgary MUSTARD SEED STREET MINISTRY, SALVATION ARMY, DROP IN CENTER and the DREAM CENTER if you do not believe us. One will find more than 2,000 people with schizophrenia who have not seen a psychiatrist or received medication in decades. Our politicians in government and the press and media are pretending that these seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients with schizophrenia an incurable but treatable disease do not exist. People with schizophrenia seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients have not been made a priority in the six priorities list in the mental health review that is seven months in the making.
Today in Calgary we have 11,000 seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients compared to diabetes schizophrenia does not
• have enough psychiatrists
• have enough educational publications
• even have one psychiatric clinic
• have any fund raising
• have any corporate donations or any support of any kind and so on
all schizophrenia has are homeless shelters for people with schizophrenia.
The other two major papers in Calgary both failed to mention the seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients
or any of the recommendations by Canada"s first ever mental health strategy set out by a senate committee in 2012 the priorities for prevention and treatment set out by the Mental Health Commission of Canada in 2012.
We must find out how many seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients are in Canadian prison and jails.

Mental health review findings to be released Calgary herald Wednesday February 17, 2016 is a waste of paper and empty blah blah blah for 33 years these articles are useless. The public and all groups of government politicians, judges, crown prosecutors, lawyers and everyday Canadians need better education when it comes to treatment of seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients Canada’s treatment of seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients is just like German Nazi’s who killed all seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients. Canadians need to understand that if we want to provide treatment for seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients we need to change the laws so that seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients may be treated. We must educate the public and all groups of government politicians, judges, crown prosecutors, lawyers, police and everyday Canadians just as the United States did in 1983, when President Carter’s administration changed the laws, which allowed seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients to receive treatment. Without receiving this treatment as quickly as possible the seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients will suffer permanent brain damage. Every 100th person has schizophrenia so in Canada; we have 300,000 people with schizophrenia and for 33 years 200,000 are not receiving any treatment, all 200,000 are left to suffer irreversible brain damage. One example is that politicians like prime minister Harper insisted that mentally ill offenders first must be punished and treatment a distant second. Another example is of Mark Bonokoski Sun media’s national editorial writer who insists on. “Violent mentally ill offenders should be locked up in maximum security prisons” and “No black and white in grey matter Psychiatrists who think they can diagnose the brain of the deranged need their head read” both quotes can be found on our website updates page posted 14 April 2013. Reporters like Bonokoski and politicians like Harper must be re-educated in a civilized country. Our government must change the laws regarding the treatment of seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients if our government does not we will continue to kill the brains of seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients. For 22 years, we have been educating government politicians, Dr. David Swann, Brain Mason, premiere Ralph Klein and everyday Canadians. We conducted a letter campaign to all members of the legislature to approve our PRIVATE MEMBERS BILL to amend the Alberta Mental Health Act the legislature managed to approve the BILL but was impotent to modify the laws on mental health treatment. All we are doing is literally following E. Fuller Torrey and his book Surviving Schizophrenia on educating the public on providing treatment to all seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients. In the United States, people who advocate for all seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients are recognized for their dedication. In Canada, while the government continues to kill the brains of all seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients the police constantly charge us with causing a disturbance. In order to stop this killing you must call you MLA and your MP to change the laws that provide treatment for all seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients.

David McQueen killed by Calgary police posted his anger at healthcare system, government and police on Facebook. Alberta liberal leader David Swann says that McQueen “was clearly suffering from an obvious, and serious, mental illness” and “McQueen fell through the cracks” McQueen fell through the cracks because he had no psychiatric social worker or a psychiatric nurse and that is why everybody missed the warning signs that he is going to start shooting at random targets like the city transit bus and innocent bystanders from his home in Huntington Hills. Retired NHL star Kelly Hrudey who was friends with David McQueen knows the importance on speaking out on mental health issues but no one wants to address the need of involuntary treatment for seriously mentally ill psychiatric patients we have to modify our outdated laws just as the United States did in 1983 under President Carter’s administration. Without modifying the stringent laws that produce the problems for the people and the families of David McQueen we need to modify these laws so such persons can be involuntarily hospitalized and treated. Without this people like David McQueen, Matthew de Grood, Derek Puffer and Jim Roszko will continue to fall through the cracks just like David Swann says.
